What is the Best Way to Set Up Merchant Accounts and Automated Billing for a Credit Repair Company?

Q & A with Mike Citron
When I contacted Authorize.net they advised me that it would be very difficult to get a merchant account in order to do automated billing to a credit card. Apparently, credit repair companies have poor experience. I checked with a few other merchant account companies and got the same answer. Can you let us know how new credit repair companies can overcome this obstacle? I really would like to avoid ACH processing if possible.

Here is a link to a “quick app” for the ONLY merchant provider that we recommend for the credit repair industry: http://www.creditbizblog.com/credit-repair-news/finally-a-reliable-and-honest-merchant-account-provider-for-credit-repair-companies/

  5. I watched you today, Feb 10, and enjoyed it immensly. I am completely new at the credit repair business and your weekly training videos and your webinars are getting me more confident in this business. It is intimadating at first, but because of me sticking this out and making the weekly effort, I am sure I will eventually become fairly good in this business. I am also looking forward to your new special report you spoke about today…thanks for your effort, keep up the good work.

I love being able to see you on the video!

I am a mortgage banker/broker. Most of my business has been educating my clients (with my limited education) how to fix credit problems…for free. I would be SO frustrated when I couldn't give them the info they needed to fix stuff that shouldn't be there. I am very close to opening up my credit repair business! It will be so satisfying helping people and actually knowing what I am doing!

Please do send me the 30 page expose!
Really, really enjoyed these last two webinars!

    Hi Mike.
I am getting a lot out of your webinars and I am looking forward to seeing you again in Tampa.
I am just getting started so everything is laying the groundwork for my "sucessful" credit repair business.
I just am hesitating a bit because I want to do it right.
Please send me a copy of the documents you mentioned on todays webinar.
    Thanks so very much.

    Mike,
Thank you once again for another incredible webinar! Each week I pick up at least one new item…and after today's webinar: I feel like my head is going to blow up. Thank you for all you do to help our industry.

  11. Steve says:

The information provided in the Webinar is very helpful. I'm new to the credit repair business and looking for as much quality information that I can find. I like that Mike takes the time to educate, share his insight and expertise with others in this industry. Look forward to next week!

  12. I appreciated the opportunity to attend today's webinar. I have never been a big fan of credit repair because of the some of the bad seeds in this industry. As a speaker and author of a book on credit restoration , I used to discourage people from using credit repair services. However, having attended several of your seminars, I have decided to join the industry as a credit repair professional. Thank you for showing me that there are true professionals with integrity in the credit repair business.

  13. Stephen Henson says:

Your webinars and this community is very beneficial for me. I work independently (alone) and these calls and interaction allow me to see what is else is taking place. I have utilized several of your resources (I have recently been approved for a merchant account thanks to your source). The question and answers are also important, because it helps drive home many of the basic strategies. I am a biz in a box purchaser as well and reference that material often. Ultimately however, I like the fact that everyone is sharing ideas to improve their performance with their referring partners and clients. Thanks for what you do.

  14. Brad Coleman says:

Hi Mike, todays webinar was fantastic. I have been joining you on the webinar for some-time now, and have learned alot in the process. My credit repair business is growing consistently, because of the insider tactics and secrets you've taught me. I attended the Tampa Bootcamp in June, and hope to see you @ the next Tampa Bootcamp in April. That Tactical Guide that you gave me is killer. I followed your advice and constructed some of my on dispute letters from the templates you gave – now I have some killer dispute letters thanks to you. They get amazing results. That Tactical Guide is priceless. Also, thanks for revealing one of the best bonding agents on todays webinar, that you stated you wouldn't, but you did – you always seem to amaze me on what you reveal and not being selfish and keeping these valuable nuggets to yourself. Last, but not least could you please email to me your latest ebook "The Credit Bureau Expose" that you promised.

What Mike and his company has done for me, has been absolutely tremendous. He and all of his knowledge and wisdom has assisted me with propelling my business by lighting speed. I am a "newbie" and everything simply began with me surfing the internet for resources on "how to start a credit repair biz". Well, once I came across Mike/ Dispute Suite I realized that I did not have to research any longer. After speaking with him, he has given my additional resources and insight to streamline my business practices. I know if I continue to stay plugged in to everything that's offered i.e, weekly webinars, forums, and bootcamp – I will be a success. thanks
p.s also requesting credit expose per webinar offer.

  16. Lucinda says:

….question: I am a "newbie" with my awesome credit repair business. And after watching this video tip. I have a question: I found two payment services via the internet (firstACH.com & paysimple.com) where I can set up credit card processing and recurring. I haven't signed up yet, but they don't appear to require you to jump through hoops, i.e credit approval, etc ….Are these internet services ok to use? Please some insight? thanks maxincrease@yahoo.com

I've been lucky in that I can process credit cards (4 yrs now) but I like the option of going someplace else just in case my merchant decides to drop me. Thank you Mike so much for all the resources you make available to all of us.

I have really enjoyed attending your webinars the past couple of months. I have been in the business since 2004 and I still learn something every week. Thanks so much!

  22. As a result of the CARD Act reforms that went into effect on February 22, credit card companies are projected to incur $12 billion in annual losses. But we all know that credit card companies are far too imaginative to let this happen. The reforms require the credit card companies to give you 45 days notice before rate increases, and those increases cannot be applied to existing debt unless you miss payments for 60 days. In addition, there have been new restrictions placed on how they can market to college students under 21 years old. This all translates to nothing more than a bump in the road for card companies. Old methods of revenue generation will be replace by new ones in the form of lots of fee
